De Lukey Heights Tribune ligt op het hoogtepunt van de scherpe daling van bocht 9 van het circuit en biedt een prachtig uitzicht over een van de meest veeleisende en ingewikkelde delen van het circuit, dat helemaal doorloopt tot aan de Southern Loop. Bocht 9 is berucht op Phillip Island en wordt gekenmerkt door een lange bocht naar links die naar een blinde top leidt, gevolgd door een uitdagend stuk bergafwaarts naar haarspeldbocht 10, een gebied dat bekend staat om zijn uitstekende inhaalmogelijkheden.
