Die Lukey Heights-Tribüne befindet sich auf dem Gipfel des steilen Gefälles der Rennstrecke nach Turn 9 und bietet einen weiten Blick über einen der anspruchsvollsten und kompliziertesten Teile der Strecke, der sich bis zur Südschleife erstreckt. Turn 9 ist auf Phillip Island berüchtigt. Sie zeichnet sich durch eine langgezogene Linkskurve aus, die zu einem blinden Scheitelpunkt führt, gefolgt von einer anspruchsvollen Abfahrt in die Haarnadelkurve von Turn 10 - ein Bereich, der für seine hervorragenden Überholmöglichkeiten bekannt ist.
