The Qatar MotoGP kicks off the season with three days of racing under the floodlights at Lusail International Circuit.
Friday
Riders take to the track for Free Practice 1 and Practice sessions, aiming to secure a direct place in Q2 or face the extra challenge of Q1. The ten fastest riders in combined practice times advance directly to Q2.
Saturday
A 30-minute Free Practice 2 session kicks off the day, followed by Qualifying, which determines the starting grid for both the MotoGP Sprint and Sunday’s Grand Prix. The Sprint, run at approximately half the full race distance, delivers intense battles and awards points to the top nine finishers (12 points for the winner).
Sunday
A short MotoGP warm-up session precedes the main event, where the Grand Prix race promises intense on-track action and could already play an important role in shaping the early championship standings.
