Located in Montmeló, just 20 km from Barcelona, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is a staple of the MotoGP calendar, known for its thrilling battles, fierce rivalries, and dramatic moments.
Spanning 4.657 km with 14 corners, the track blends high-speed straights, sweeping bends, and technical sections, creating plenty of overtaking opportunities. The 1.047 km main straight has seen legendary battles, including Rossi’s last-corner pass on Lorenzo in 2009 and Gibernau vs. Rossi in 2003, where victory was decided on the final turn. The circuit has also been a battleground for Márquez and Rossi’s fierce rivalry in 2016 and the infamous Quartararo unzipped suit drama in 2021.
With well-positioned grandstands, updated facilities, and VIP hospitality, the track offers an unforgettable experience. Its proximity to Barcelona makes it the perfect mix of high-speed action and cultural adventure.
