Schedule

The MotoGP Czech Grand Prix spans three thrilling days, adhering to the standard MotoGP weekend format, filled with great action and excitement:

Friday
The action begins with two practice sessions for each class, now called P1 and P2. These sessions decide which MotoGP riders go straight to Q2 and who must compete in Q1.

Saturday
The day starts with a 30-minute Free Practice session, followed by MotoGP qualifying to set the grid for both the Sprint and Sunday’s race. In the afternoon, the MotoGP Sprint race takes place:

  • Half the distance of the main race (e.g., 12 laps if Sunday’s race is 24 laps).
  • High-intensity racing with points for the top nine finishers (12 points for the winner).

Sunday
Morning warm-up (MotoGP only): a 10-minute session for last-minute tweaks.

Expect a thorough bag check before entering the Masaryk Circuit. Review the list of allowed and prohibited items in advance to avoid any issues. Items like food, drinks, or merchandise must comply with the rules, as prohibited items will be confiscated, and entry could be denied. Packing light and following the guidelines will ensure a smoother entry.

Access to the circuit is only possible through official entrances and gates. Parking is allowed in designated areas or as directed by event staff, so be sure to follow instructions to avoid delays or complications.

A valid ticket is required for entry, either electronic or printed. While using your phone is convenient, carrying a printed backup is wise in case of technical issues. Tickets can be easily purchased online, so book ahead to avoid last-minute stress.

Gates typically open around 8:00 AM, giving you time to settle in and explore. Arriving early helps beat the crowds and lets you enjoy the atmosphere, shop for merchandise, grab food, or secure the best trackside views

Attendees of the MotoGP Czech Grand Prix at the Masaryk Circuit must follow key rules to ensure a hassle-free experience. Entry is granted only with a valid ticket, available in digital or printed form, and it’s advisable to carry both as a backup.

All bags will be inspected at the entrance, with prohibited items confiscated. To avoid any issues, review the list of permitted items before arriving, as non-compliance could result in denied entry.

It’s important to check the detailed guidelines ahead of time to avoid surprises.

What you can bring:

  • Cameras and phones – Personal cameras, video cameras (non-commercial use), and mobile phones are allowed.
  • Drinks and food – PET bottles up to 0.5L (max 2 per person) and food for medical reasons are permitted.
  • Walking aids and medical items – Canes for the blind, walking aids, and personal medicines are allowed.
  • Flagpoles – Flagpoles up to 1.6m or under 2cm in diameter are permitted if they do not obstruct views.
  • Lighters – Commercially available pocket lighters are allowed.
  • Binoculars – Personal use binoculars are permitted.
  • Compact items – Compact umbrellas and folding chairs/armchairs are allowed in natural stands.
  • Access conditions – Entry with flagpoles may be denied if they do not carry a flag.

Items not allowed at the circuit.

  • Alcohol and drugs – Alcoholic beverages, drugs, harmful substances, and poisons are banned.
  • Bags and large items – Backpacks over 15 litres, suitcases, trolleys, and camping gear are not allowed.
  • Bicycles and transport devices – Bicycles, scooters, and similar devices are prohibited.
  • Dangerous objects – Sharp items, sprays, fireworks, and explosives are not permitted.
  • Drones and filming equipment – Drones and professional audio-visual gear are restricted.
  • Glass and containers – Cans, glass, metal bottles, and large PET bottles are not allowed.
  • Noise-making devices – Musical instruments, laser pointers, and air horns are banned.
  • Umbrellas and shelters – Umbrellas, parasols, and camping gear are restricted outside general admission zones.

Several large parking areas are available near the Brno circuit, offering convenient options for event attendees.

Easy Camping is located near the Automotodrom circuit, providing clean toilets and hot showers, with electricity available upon request. Visitors can park their cars or motorbikes directly at their camping spot for added convenience. Food and drinks are available on-site, including a simple street food menu and a selection of beverages. Staff are on hand to assist with any issues. Groups of friends and fans are welcome. The campsite operates from Thursday to Monday.

General admission tickets: These provide access to an open meadow without reserved seating and are the most budget-friendly option.
