Parkeren in de buurt van Albert Park Circuit is erg beperkt en het kan een uitdaging zijn om een geschikte plek te vinden.
Er is geen openbare parkeergelegenheid rond het circuit en parkeren op verboden terrein wordt sterk afgeraden, omdat de lokale autoriteiten streng toezien op de naleving en geregeld boetes uitdelen.
Wie met de auto naar het evenement komt, moet rekening houden met mogelijke verkeersopstoppingen. Een aanbevolen parkeeroptie is het Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), dat op ongeveer 3 km van het circuit ligt. Het MCEC heeft betaalde parkeerplaatsen voor ongeveer A$20, zodat je naar het circuit kunt lopen of gebruik kunt maken van ride-sharing diensten zoals Uber of het openbaar vervoer, zoals tram 96.
Je kunt ook parkeren bij een halte van tram 96 en gebruik maken van de gratis tram (die tijdens het evenement beschikbaar is voor mensen met een F1-ticket) om het circuit zonder problemen te bereiken.
