Chang International Circuit, also known as Buriram International Circuit, is Thailand’s leading motorsport venue. Located in Buriram, approximately 400 km northeast of Bangkok, the circuit opened in 2014 and has since become a major destination for international racing. Designed by Hermann Tilke, it meets FIA Grade 1 and FIM Grade A standards.
The track has a length of 4.554 km with 12 corners and a longest straight of one kilometre. It provides a mix of high-speed sections and technical turns, creating a challenge for both riders and teams.
MotoGP made its debut at Chang International Circuit in 2018, marking Thailand’s first-ever Grand Prix. The race quickly gained popularity, attracting massive crowds and delivering intense battles. The inaugural event saw Marc Márquez claim victory after a thrilling duel with Andrea Dovizioso.
Beyond MotoGP, the circuit has hosted various international and regional racing series, including the Superbike World Championship.
