Rules for visitors

Before heading to Silverstone Circuit for the British MotoGP Grand Prix, check the list of permitted and prohibited items to ensure a smooth entry and avoid any issues at security checks.

Permitted items
  • Food & soft drinks – Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted, but they must be in plastic bottles or tetra-pack containers.
  • Cameras & video recording – Personal cameras and smartphones are allowed, including high-quality cameras with telephoto lenses and tripods, though professional equipment may be restricted.
Prohibited items
  • BBQs & open flames – Barbecues, fireworks, pyrotechnics, and smoke canisters are strictly prohibited.
  • Drones & remote-controlled aircraft – The use of drones or any remote-controlled flying devices is not allowed anywhere on the premises.
  • Glass itemsGlass bottles and containers are banned for safety reasons.
  • Offensive & dangerous itemsWeapons, step ladders, lasers, or any item that may be deemed dangerous, offensive, or obstructive to others are prohibited.
  • Prohibited vehicles & transportPowered scooters (except disability scooters), hoverboards, and electric cycles are not allowed within the venue.
  • Shelters & large structuresTents, shelters, and sun parasols are not permitted as they may obstruct views.
  • Unauthorized promotional items – Items deemed to be for ambush marketing or protest purposes, including certain flags or clothing, may be refused entry.
