Rules for visitors

As with all MotoGP events, the Qatar MotoGP has specific regulations that spectators need to follow. 

Below is a general overview of the key guidelines:

Permitted items
  • Small bags or backpacks – Must be within the permitted size limits (maximum 75 cm in any dimension).
  • Compact banners and flags – Must not exceed 2x1.5 metres to avoid obstructing views.
  • Personal cameras and smartphones – For capturing the action, but professional photography equipment may require special permission.
  • Sealed packs of tissues or wet wipes – Allowed for personal use.
  • Valid ID – Spectators should bring a government-issued ID, especially if attending with children.
Prohibited items
  • Bags larger than 75 cm in any dimension – Oversized bags are not permitted for security reasons, so attendees should bring only small bags or backpacks within the allowed size.
  • Banners exceeding 2x1.5 metres – Large banners that could obstruct views or create safety hazards are not allowed.
  • Fireworks – All types of fireworks and pyrotechnics are strictly prohibited to ensure spectator safety.
  • Food and drinks (except for children’s essentials) – Outside food and beverages are not allowed inside the venue, except for necessary provisions for young children.
  • Glass containers – Glass bottles, jars, or any other breakable containers are not permitted within the circuit.
  • Laser devices – Laser pointers and similar items that could distract riders, officials, or spectators are banned.
  • More than one package of medication (limited to a single pack with up to seven types) – Essential medication is allowed but must be within the permitted limit.
