The Lusail International Circuit (LIC) is Qatar’s premier motorsport venue and has been a key stop on the MotoGP calendar since 2004. 

The 5.4 km track features 16 corners, with a mix of medium- and high-speed bends that demand precision and skill. The long a1.068 km main straight is one of the longest on the calendar, creating prime opportunities for slipstreaming and late-braking overtakes. The track surface was recently resurfaced, ensuring optimal grip and consistency for high-speed battles.

Lusail offers modern facilities, including grandstands, hospitality lounges, and dedicated fan zones, enhancing the spectator experience. The night race setting under powerful floodlights adds to the spectacle, creating a unique atmosphere that makes the Qatar MotoGP stand out on the calendar.

Located just outside Doha, the circuit is easily accessible via road, metro, and shuttle services. With its fast layout, excellent visibility, and thrilling night-time racing, Lusail International Circuit remains one of the most distinctive venues in MotoGP.
