About the circuit

Located in Tuscany, the Mugello Circuit is one of the most iconic tracks in motorcycle racing. The 5.245 km circuit features 15 corners and a 1.141 km main straight, where MotoGP bikes reach speeds over 360 km/h. Originally built in the 1970s on the site of a historic road course, Mugello was later modernized and is now owned by Ferrari, ensuring world-class facilities.

The track is known for its fast, flowing layout with significant elevation changes, making it one of the most challenging circuits on the MotoGP calendar. The Arrabbiata corners are particularly demanding, requiring precision and confidence from riders. Since becoming a permanent fixture in MotoGP in the 1990s, Mugello has delivered some of the sport’s most thrilling races, with legendary battles involving Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo, and Márquez.

Famous for its passionate Italian crowd, the circuit provides an electric atmosphere, especially for Ducati fans. The combination of high-speed sections, technical corners, and unpredictable racing makes Mugello a true rider and fan favourite.
