The Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna is one of Brazil’s most established racing venues, situated in the city of Goiânia and named in honour of three-time Formula 1 World Champion Ayrton Senna.
Inaugurated in 1974, the circuit stretches over 3.835 kilometres and features 14 corners, blending long straights with a mix of flowing and technical sections. This combination creates overtaking opportunities while still demanding precision and rhythm from drivers and riders.
Throughout its history, the venue has welcomed major national and international series, including MotoGP and Stock Car Brasil, building a strong motorsport tradition in central Brazil. The atmosphere during race weekends is known for its energy, supported by well-positioned grandstands, open spectator areas and a spacious pit complex.
The region’s tropical climate can also play a role, with high temperatures and occasional rain showers adding an extra strategic factor to racing conditions.
