Rules for visitors

Before heading to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, know what’s allowed and banned to avoid any hassle at security checks.

Permitted items
  • Food & soft drinks – You can bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages in a plastic bottle (max. 500ml) or tetra-pack container.
  • Umbrellas & camping chairs – Permitted in General Admission areas only. Be mindful not to obstruct others' views.
  • Prams & strollers – Allowed for families with young children.
  • Cameras & video recording – Personal cameras and smartphones are fine. You can even bring a high-quality camera with a telephoto lens and tripod. However, large professional equipment may be restricted.
Prohibited items
  • Alcohol & drugs – Alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, and harmful or flammable materials
  • Bags & luggage – Backpacks over 15 litres, suitcases, trolleys
  • Bottles & containers – Glass, metal, or PET bottles over 500ml, hard water bottles, cans
  • Chairs & large items – Folding chairs, tables, tents, sleeping bags
  • Dangerous objects – Knives, weapons, explosives, sharp or hazardous items
  • Fireworks & lasers – Firecrackers, smoke bombs, horns, laser pointers
  • Personal mobility devices – Bicycles, scooters, drones, remote-controlled flying machines
  • Restricted accessories – Power banks, large umbrellas, musical instruments, sprays (varnish, deodorant, mosquito repellent)
