Rules for visitors

At the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, staff are friendly and ready to help make your race weekend unforgettable. However, a few important rules are in place to guarantee a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Ignoring these guidelines might lead to denied entry, even with a valid ticket.

Not sure what’s allowed inside the circuit? Here’s a quick guide to help you prepare for your visit.

Permitted items
  • Bottles and canteens up to 500 ml with caps (no metal bottles): Only plastic bottles and canteens up to 500 ml are allowed. Metal bottles are prohibited for safety reasons.
  • Cameras, tripods, unipods, and selfie sticks: Personal cameras are permitted, but tripods, unipods, and selfie sticks may be restricted in certain areas to avoid obstructing views or causing safety concerns.
  • Chairs and folding stools (non-wood): Only lightweight, non-wooden chairs and stools are allowed. Large or heavy seating items may be restricted due to space limitations. Applies for General Admission areas.
  • Flexible plastic flag rods: Flags with flexible plastic rods are allowed, but rigid or oversized poles are prohibited to ensure spectator safety.
  • Tablets, e-readers, and small power banks (max 300 g; devices must be operational upon request): Electronic devices are allowed, but they must be in working condition when requested by security. Large power banks exceeding 300 g are not permitted.
  • Pocket lighters: Standard pocket lighters are allowed, but larger lighters, torches, or gas canisters are prohibited.
Prohibited items
  • Alcoholic beverages: Bringing your own alcohol is strictly prohibited. Alcohol consumption is regulated and available for purchase within the venue under controlled conditions.
  • Animals: With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed on the premises for safety and hygiene reasons.
  • Bags and luggage over 15 liters: Large bags create security risks and can obstruct pathways. Only small backpacks and handbags are permitted, subject to security checks.
  • Bottles and cans (over 500 ml): Large plastic bottles, cans, and glass containers are not allowed to prevent safety hazards. Drinks must be purchased inside the venue.
  • Drugs: illegal substances are not allowed. Anyone found in possession will be reported to the authorities.
  • Explosive materials: Fireworks, flares, and any items classified as explosive are strictly prohibited for security reasons.
  • Power Banks exceeding 300 grams: Large-capacity power banks pose a safety risk and are not allowed. Only small, portable chargers are permitted.
  • Weapons, knives, and work tools: Firearms, sharp objects, and tools that could be used as weapons are banned to ensure the safety of all attendees.
