Avoid hassle at the gate! Here's a guide to prohibited and allowed items when heading to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Keep your luggage light—bags over 20 litres in capacity are not permitted.

Permitted items
  • Baby bottles and baby carriages
  • Cameras and lenses for personal use
  • Lightweight collapsible chairs
  • Food and drinks in soft containers (no glass or cans)
  • Assistance dogs
Prohibited items
  • Bags exceeding 20 litres in capacity
  • Glass bottles and glass containers
  • BBQs or gas stoves
  • Restricted or illegal substances
  • Offensive weapons
  • Items deemed dangerous, offensive, or unsuitable
  • Drones or remote-controlled aircraft
  • Step ladders or items that may obstruct others’ views
  • Lasers or laser pointers
  • Fireworks, smoke canisters, or pyrotechnics
  • Items related to ambush marketing
  • Tents or shelters
  • Four-wheeled carry carts (except those for children, which must be empty at the gate)
  • Powered scooters, hoverboards, or electric cycles (excluding disability scooters)
  • Sun parasols
  • Bicycles
  • Bottles of spirits or fortified wines
  • Any item deemed by Silverstone Circuits Ltd. to potentially disrupt or be used for protest purposes.
  • Alcohol
