Entering the circuit

To enter the Algarve International Circuit during the F1 weekend, spectators must present a valid ticket at the entrance gates. Gates usually open early in the morning, allowing fans plenty of time to reach their grandstands or explore the circuit. Because large crowds are expected, especially on race day, arriving early is recommended to avoid queues at security checks and entry points.

The circuit has several access gates depending on the ticket type and the location of your grandstand or viewing area. Parking arrangements for the event will be confirmed closer to the race weekend. In previous years, parking near the circuit was often available free of charge, although for major events it may require advance registration or could be subject to a fee (TBA). Most parking areas are typically located within a 10 to 30-minute walk of the track.

A Fan Zone near the Main Grandstand entrance usually offers entertainment, live music and rider appearances throughout the weekend. Food and drink stands are located around the circuit, and spectators are generally allowed to bring small quantities of personal snacks and drinks, such as a sandwich, fruit, a snack or one bottle.
