Entering the circuit

To enter the circuit, you’ll need a valid ticket, which can be either digital or printed. For ease, store it on your phone but also carry a printed copy as a backup. Booking tickets online is simple and guarantees you the best deals – secure yours today and be race-ready!

Entrance Gates

Multiple gates ensure easy access to the circuit:

  • Ingresso Dante: Ideal for Acque Minerale, General Admission, Start/Partenza, Villeneuve, and Paddock Club areas.
  • Ingresso Tosa: Perfect for Acque Minerale, Tosa, and Villeneuve grandstands.
  • Ingresso Rivazza: Best for Acque Minerale 5, Gresini, Start/Partenza, and Rivazza grandstands.

Circuit Hours

The circuit gates open at 8:00 AM each day. While there’s no set closing time, overnight stays are not allowed. Make the most of your visit by soaking up the lively Friday and Saturday evening atmosphere! Parking spots are usually open earlier - at 6:00 AM.

Rules for visitors

At the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, staff are friendly and ready to help make your race weekend unforgettable. However, a few important rules are in place to guarantee a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Ignoring these guidelines might lead to denied entry, even with a valid ticket.

Not sure what’s allowed inside the circuit? Here’s a quick guide to help you prepare for your visit.

Permitted Items:

  • Bottles and canteens up to 500 ml with caps (no metal bottles): Only plastic bottles and canteens up to 500 ml are allowed. Metal bottles are prohibited for safety reasons.
  • Cameras, tripods, unipods, and selfie sticks: Personal cameras are permitted, but tripods, unipods, and selfie sticks may be restricted in certain areas to avoid obstructing views or causing safety concerns.
  • Chairs and folding stools (non-wood): Only lightweight, non-wooden chairs and stools are allowed. Large or heavy seating items may be restricted due to space limitations. Applies for General Admission areas.
  • Flexible plastic flag rods: Flags with flexible plastic rods are allowed, but rigid or oversized poles are prohibited to ensure spectator safety.
  • Tablets, e-readers, and small power banks (max 300 g; devices must be operational upon request): Electronic devices are allowed, but they must be in working condition when requested by security. Large power banks exceeding 300 g are not permitted.
  • Pocket lighters: Standard pocket lighters are allowed, but larger lighters, torches, or gas canisters are prohibited.

Prohibited Items:

  • Alcoholic beverages: Bringing your own alcohol is strictly prohibited. Alcohol consumption is regulated and available for purchase within the venue under controlled conditions.
  • Animals: With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed on the premises for safety and hygiene reasons.
  • Bags and luggage over 15 liters: Large bags create security risks and can obstruct pathways. Only small backpacks and handbags are permitted, subject to security checks.
  • Bottles and cans (over 500 ml): Large plastic bottles, cans, and glass containers are not allowed to prevent safety hazards. Drinks must be purchased inside the venue.
  • Drugs: illegal substances are not allowed. Anyone found in possession will be reported to the authorities.
  • Explosive materials: Fireworks, flares, and any items classified as explosive are strictly prohibited for security reasons.
  • Power Banks exceeding 300 grams: Large-capacity power banks pose a safety risk and are not allowed. Only small, portable chargers are permitted.
  • Weapons, knives, and work tools: Firearms, sharp objects, and tools that could be used as weapons are banned to ensure the safety of all attendees.

Parking

Most parking options near the Imola circuit operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and advance reservations are generally not available. Arriving early is key to securing a convenient spot. However, Easy Camping Parking offers online reservations close to the circuit, which we highly recommend for its convenience.

  • Please note there is no shuttle service from parking areas to the circuit. If you end up parking farther away from your grandstand or seating area, be prepared for a bit of a walk.
  • For those traveling by caravan or motorhome, overnight stays are not permitted in the car parks.

The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, commonly known as the Imola Circuit, is a legendary racetrack in Imola, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. Established in 1953, its name honors Enzo Ferrari and his son Dino. Spanning 4.909 kilometers (3.050 miles) with 19 challenging turns, the circuit combines high-speed straights, technical chicanes and elevation changes.

Imola first hosted Formula 1 in 1980 and was the long-standing home of the San Marino Grand Prix from 1981 to 2006. It returned to the F1 calendar in 2020 as the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix and has also hosted the Motorcycle World Championship and other prestigious motorsport events.

Iconic corners like Tamburello, Villeneuve, Tosa, Acque Minerali, and Rivazza test drivers’ skill and endurance. The circuit’s picturesque location in the Emilia-Romagna countryside adds to its allure, while its history includes both celebrated moments and tragedies, such as the losses of Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger in 1994.
